A Camera is Down...

...We have a camera down.

Yes, our camera finally died. It had a good run- 5 years- and we figured we took at least 10,000 photos on that thing.

Hence, we have no pictures to post. Lots soon to come from the crazy Thompson cabin weekend...don't worry, they will be worth the wait.

We're hoping to get a new camera this week, then we'll be up and running again! I know some people are anxiously awaiting Liam pics, as well. :)

I know you're all sitting on the edge of your seats to see what's been going on in our lives (HA!), so just hang tight.

In the meantime, the camera search continues...

A Little Sonic, A Little Running...

Probably sounds like not the best combination, huh? Well, it worked for us. Minnesota's first Sonic was just recently built, and we were pretty excited. We've always seen the ads on TV, and our friends from out-of-state had always raved about Sonic. It was an ongoing joke around our house that whenever we'd see a Sonic commercial, one of us would say, "Hey, are there any Sonics around here??" Knowing darn well that there weren't any. Well, we finally got to go last weekend, and man, was it worth the wait. Yes, it's fast food, but it's great. Love all the drinks. We highly recommend the Green Apple Slush and Fried Ice Cream Blast. Yes, we are nerds.

The next day, we both ran the Urban Wildland half marathon, which went great! We both got the times that we wanted, and said that maybe we'll have to eat Sonic the night before we run the Twin Cities Marathon- ha!


We unfortunately forgot the camera in the car when we met up with Greg's cousin Mark at the half marathon...so no pics from that. We did grab one of Catherine and Nicole when we all went out to breakfast after the race. Mmmmm....omelets....


We also got to meet our cousins' new lab puppy, Izzy. Isn't she cute? Above is cousin Alex with Izzy- only 4 months old!

I suppose we've been busy, but have forgotten the camera with everything. We are a little bummed because this weekend we were going to see the Dave Matthews Band at Alpine Valley, but I (Nicole) couldn't find anyone to work for me, and ended up getting really sick, anyway. Oh, well. We did officially book our tickets for Europe this fall...YAAAAYYY!! Can't wait.
Next weekend: the annual insane trip to the Thompson cabin...I'm sure we'll hesitate to post any of those pics...
